Union Aid Abroad - APHEDA 2008 Raffle Results

The winners of the 2008 raffle were drawn on June 19. The results were published in the Australian newspaper on June 24, 2008.

Winner of 1st prize of trip around the world for 2 - Warwick from Western Australia

Winner of 2nd prize of iPod 80 GB - Tod from NSW

Winner of a TV for selling the winning ticket - Maria in WA. Well done, Maria, thanks for selling tickets in the annual raffle.

Winner of a TV for selling most tickets - Phil from NSW. Phil sold 144 books of tickets - see if anyone can match that effort next year!!

In total, the raffle raised just on $75,000. Many thanks to all unions for distributing the raffle flyer to their delegates and members, and for advertising the raffle in their journals, on their websites and in their e-bulletins.

To all raffle ticket sellers and supporters, thanks again. We look forward to your assistance with the raffle next year.
