Position Vacant: Graphic Design and Events

We are currently seeking a suitably experienced candidate for the part-time position of Graphic Design, and Fundraising Events Support Officer to work in our Sydney office.

Building classrooms in Bouganville

The position involves graphic design and layout for Union Aid Abroad - APHEDA publications and material, as well as coordinating fundraising events such as the annual raffle, annual dinner in Sydney and annual Festive Season cards production and sale.

This 2 day a week position will support the other fundraising staff in the continuing development of the organisation's fundraising program.

Applicants will need skills in graphic design as well as strong communication and administration skills, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other staff. Experience in community fundraising and an understanding of the Australian trade union movement will be highly regarded.
