End of Financial Year Appeal - Women in Aceh

The tsunami of 2004 and 29 years of armed conflict with the Indonesian army have caused a great deal of disruption and destruction to the lives of many. Many women in Aceh are the sole supporters of their families. You can help them to be self-sufficient by donating to our programs that teach women skills to generate an income and provide for their children. You can help by donating now.

Small business training for women in Sigli, Aceh

$25 could provide 4kg of fresh fish for the fish processing groups to make and sell popular local products such as fish powder and dried fish.

$50 could buy the materials for 5 women to join a 5-day train the trainer course.

$75 could provide all the materials needed for a group of 15 women to start their fish processing business.

$80 could buy the materials required for 8 women to join a 5-day train the trainer course.

$100 can provide the training materials for 8 women to attend a 10-day small business management course.

$150 could provide the materials required for 5 women to become sewing and embroidery trainers.

$250 could provide the materials for 20 women to join a 5-day train the trainer course and 8 kg of fresh fish for the fish processing groups to make and sell popular local products such as fish powder and dried fish.

$400 will go toward sewing machines for 5 women who participate in sewing and embroidery training as well as the materials for 10 women to join a 5-day train the trainer course.

$500 could provide the training materials for 40 women to attend a 10-day small business management course.

$750 could buy all the materials and equipment required for a group of 15 women to start their fish processing business.
