Laos Vocational Skills Training for Women 2005 - 06 Donor Report
Union Aid Abroad - APHEDA has been funding a project that provides vocational skills training for marginalised women in two provinces in Lao. Lao PDR remains one of the poorest countries in South East Asia. The effects of many decades of colonialism, conflict and isolation and its slow integration into the global economy are still widely apparent. Union Aid Abroad - APHEDA's project increases the chances of the women involved finding work or raising cash income for their families.
